Follow-up Comment #18, bug #35511 (project octave):

Hi,

I am not sure how to proceed with this task. Should I wait until someone gets
a chance to review the last patch I posted here or am I supposed to go ahead
and move patch listeners to c++ updaters.

I admit I would prefer the former as moving listeners to updaters is quite a
big and intimidating task (and I wouldn't like to do it and hear that it was
not a good idea afterwards :-).
