Update of bug #45823 (project octave):
Priority: 5 - Normal => 3 - Low
Status: None => Confirmed
Summary: Empty plot after figure command => Empty plot after
figure command (FLTK only)

Follow-up Comment #1:
Confirmed. It's an annoyance, and probably difficult to actually track down
and fix.
Here are some workarounds:
1) Use 'refresh' on the command line following the plot command.
2) Change the comma-separated line 'figure, plot (x,x)' in to two separate
commands separated by a newline rather than a comma
figure
plot (x,x)
3) Put the command in an m-file and run the m-file.
Contents of tstmfile.m
x = linspace (0,1);
figure, plot (x,x)
4) Switch to a different toolkit such as gnuplot rather than FLTK.
5) Start with 'octave --no-gui'. This has a CLI interface, but the default
toolkit is qt rather than FLTK.
