Originator Email: address@hidden Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: 4.0.0 Operating System: GNU/Linux _______________________________________________________ Details: Whithin the bracketing of arrays the interpreter allows to assign a value to the "end" key word. Matlab does not allow this behavior (was only able to test with 2010a). a=[1 1 1] a = 1 1 1 >> a(end) ans = 1 >> a(end)=3 a = 1 1 3 >> a(end=1)=0 a = 0 1 3 >> a(end) ans = 0 I was searching if this bug already has been reported but could not find a matchinng submit.
