Follow-up Comment #40, bug #48474 (project octave): Yes I know because I am 64 bit windows binary packager on the site. I have already mentioned what you said in comment #26. > Could we include SF gnuplot package with octave install? >From distribution discussion for mac binaries in maintainers ML (I cannot remember title of the thread), the reason windows binary can be uploaded because binary is build with entirely free tools and on free OS (linux). The gnuplot binaries provided on the source forge are built only using free GNU tools. But they were built on non-free OS (windows). Mac binary is now built with free tools but on non-free OS (macOS).
