Details:
As pointed out on StackOverflow [1], the second demonstration in the online
documentation for datetick [2] has transposed the first two input arguments.
This doesn't lead to an error but the 'x' is interpreted as the undocumented
input specifying the start date to use.
datetick (2, 'x', 'keepticks');
This should read
datetick ('x', 2, 'keepticks');
