Update of bug #52935 (project octave): Status: Fixed => In Progress Open/Closed: Closed => Open Release: other => 4.2.0 _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #2: @David: You can compile the attached file with "mkoctfile winqueryreg.cc" to get support for the last two syntaxes at [1]. It doesn't implement the 'name' syntax. Please, let me know if you need that. @all: Do we want to support Windows-only functions in Octave? Should that function be incorporated into Octave core? The Mathworks is no specific whether that function is available in non-Windows version of Octave. What does it return if it does exist? Could someone with access to Matlab on Linux or Mac please check?
