Follow-up Comment #7, bug #55534 (project octave): See for example https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/octave-maintainers/2016-04/msg00031.html If this is a known compatibility problem, we should probably explicitly document it in the user manual along with examples or justifications for the incompatibility.
