Follow-up Comment #14, bug #50692 (project octave):
I'm also running into this on a fresh install of Octave 5.1.0 on Windows 10
("About Octave" reports *Octave was configured for "x86_64-w64-mingw32".*).
Interestingly, the bonus line breaks are occurring at the 18 and 48 second
marks of the system clock for me too, and this remains consistent after
closing and reopening Octave.
It looks like this bug has been independently reported quite a few times (4
duplicates, plus several "me too" here), and it impacts the usability pretty
significantly. I'd like to request a priority bump on it.
Thanks nevertheless for a very handy and powerful free tool!
