Follow-up Comment #4:
I'd consider it off topic. The Windows version of Octave is built by Octave
Maintainers and so complaints about that particular software should be
resolved here. However, the Octave snap package is not officially released by
the Maintainers (no mention on www.octave.org) so I think the issue should be
resolved by the snap packagers (which, in this case, include an Octave
Maintainer, but that is beside the point).
