Follow-up Comment #19, bug #56952 (project octave):

I still sometimes see segfaults but from examining core files, they seem
happening in other places.  It looks to me like there are issues with the
sequence of events that happen in the interpreter destructor.  I'm not sure
how to fix that yet.  I'm out of time right now but will try to describe the
problem tomorrow.
