URL: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?57070> Summary: Big Plotting Project: GNU Octave Submitted by: joet90 Submitted on: Thu 17 Oct 2019 06:44:57 AM UTC Category: Plotting Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Feature Request Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Name: Joe Tusek Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: 5.1.0 Operating System: Any _______________________________________________________ Details: Would be great to have inbuilt speed-ups for big plots. I have seen approaches on github (such as https://github.com/JimHokanson/plotBig_Matlab) for such things. Usually involves reducing the amount of data plotted to match the screen resolution and dynamically re-scales as required. Would be a plus for anyone who has lots of data to plot or accidentally ends up plotting lots of data. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?57070> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
