Follow-up Comment #4, bug #57110 (project octave):
@mtmiller: No, Dmitri's right. Look at those `LD_PRELOAD` lines; he's
intentionally plugging in alternate BLAS implementations at run time. This is
a supported feature of BLAS. It's not *exactly* the same problem I'm having,
but it's an aspect of the same code in liboctave/lo-sysinfo.cc.
