hm, I have GIS files from openstreetmap for a country, but I need the data for
only one city, the 'BoundingBox' property of shaperead doesn't clip
lines/polygons, and the 'Clip', true property doesn't change it that much
either. The coords of the railway file I use for testing never exactly fit the
geo coords longitude-wise. This being on w10, where octclip did install.

The sheer amount of clipping functions in the geometry pkg is scary.
