Follow-up Comment #5:
The "odepkg" from SourceForge is discontinued and Octave 4.2 is outdated by
now.
The method described in comment #1 and https://wiki.octave.org/Odepkg to
install the "odepkg" BitBucket version works with the current stable release
Octave 5.1.0 (and 4.4.1) and 64 Bit indices enabled.
