Follow-up Comment #5, bug #57460 (project octave):

The results for your test:

>> stats_tst_svds
Fraction passing = 0 / 100


If I comment the lines in "tst_svds.m" setting the rng state, I see the
following:

>> stats_tst_svds
Fraction passing = 97 / 100


So another "fix" would be to change the seed.
