Follow-up Comment #1, bug #57471 (project octave):
I'll take care of it. if patch () is replaced by surface (), the vertice
construction can be simplified. significant cpu runtime can be gained. in
maybe a week i will complete with streamribbon. code is similar between
functions. --> can take over code from streamribbon to create a patch for
streamtube.
