Update of bug #58689 (project octave): Status: Patch Submitted => In Progress _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #37: It looks like (at least for the time being) we cannot fully replace python2 with python3 for all packages. That means that it is not necessary to push everything here in one go. I hope that the risk of breaking something is smaller when doing incremental steps (or at least this way it might be easier to find the error in case something breaks). As the initial steps I pushed John Donogue's change that allows the python scripts in MXE Octave to run with python3 here: https://hg.octave.org/mxe-octave/rev/898c27394c57 Additionally, I pushed this change to add a build rule for python3: https://hg.octave.org/mxe-octave/rev/fb50ae69121c With these changes, some of the other patches probably no longer apply cleanly. I'll update them when I come around to it. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?58689> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
