Follow-up Comment #4, bug #59081 (project octave): Thank you John for looking into this 🙂 Would of-image be compiled to the mxe built "octave" and "mkoctfile", if the block from https://sourceforge.net/p/octave/image/ci/default/tree/src/configure.ac was removed and the variables OCTAVE and MKOCTFILE are properly set by mxe-octave?
