URL: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?59087> Summary: make -j4 runs on a single core only Project: GNU Octave Submitted by: larskindermann Submitted on: Wed 09 Sep 2020 11:22:27 AM UTC Category: Configuration and Build System Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Performance Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Name: Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Release: dev Discussion Lock: Any Operating System: GNU/Linux _______________________________________________________ Details: My build scripts use "make -j4" to build octave. But only one processor is actually used as shown by system monitor. So building is pretty slow. I'm on Debian testing. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?59087> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
