Follow-up Comment #10, bug #38063 (project octave):
because expfit in Matlab is about the exponential distribution, and thus
totally different, I suggest to at least flag this as a Matlab incompatibility
bug. But I generally favor renaming.
Note also that 'help expfit' tells us
error: help: the 'expfit' function belongs to the statistics package from
Octave
Forge but has not yet been implemented.
which indicates that it should be implemented as a distribution fit as in ML,
not as an optim-function.
