Follow-up Comment #1, bug #61905 (project octave):
"GNU libtool hasn't seen a release since 2015, so we've starting to look
elsewhere."
Can you please explain why you need something different? Exactly what
problems do you face when building Octave? Precisely how does libtool fail
for you when building Octave?
