Follow-up Comment #5, bug #62332 (project octave):

I rebuilt Octave with the updated MinGW CRT (in MSYS2). With that, the
precision of powers (with negative internet exponent) is indeed better than it
was before. However, it doesn't make a difference for the test cases here.
