Follow-up Comment #12, bug #49091 (project octave):

I pushed a patch for the CRT of mingw-w64 to the default branch of MXE Octave
here:

With it, the tests with large inputs for inverse trigonometric functions pass
for me with the same tolerances than on Linux (with libm from glibc?).

If that works for us, we could maybe send it upstream for review...

There are still failing tests for input that is pure negative imaginary.

Fwiw: Openlibm doesn't get that right either...
