Follow-up Comment #45, bug #46451 (project octave):

I imagine yes. I don't have time to look at this right now. I sketched a patch
which I didn't even try to compile, but it if doesn't work right away, it
should at least point us in the right direction. I do have to say that I'm not
a fan of "carrying around" the class name like this.
