Follow-up Comment #5, bug#63549 (group octave):
Could you please try again with the current version 4.0.0 of the control
package? This version is the first that uses the latest SLICOT routines v5.8
which are available under the BSD-3-clause license since 2022.
On my Debian 12, Octave 9.0.1 does not crash. Still, the result is not
meaningful as the control package does not support systems with complex
coefficients.
