Follow-up Comment #35, bug#58926 (group octave):

I'm able to compile GNU Octave 8.4.0 from source directly with Intel MKL
2024.0.0 without any segfault from ____run_test_suite____.  No LD_PRELOAD
workaround is necessary.  It gives the correct results for the issue mentioned
in this bug report at seemingly MKL speed.  More details in
