It appears that i write simple things in the command window like a=1:200, on
the first try the command window is not full so i can type some commands
further, once it is full though it stops letting me type any command and >>
stops appearing. This problem is solved only when i go
edit->preferences->command->ok.

time and freezing of the command window together with absence of &gt;&gt; ,
step 4: CLI window shuts down
