is in your path. Then executing
octave -f --eval 'pkg load parallel ; parcellfun (2, "factorial", {-1,2,-3},
"ErrorHandler", @foo);'
gives
warning: 3:
warning: 1:
Doing instead
octave -f --eval 'cellfun ("factorial", {-1,2,-3}, "ErrorHandler", @foo);'
gives the expected result
warning: 1: factorial: all N must be real non-negative integers
warning: 3: factorial: all N must be real non-negative integers
