                  Status:          Ready For Test => Fixed                  
             Open/Closed:                    Open => Closed                 
         Planned Release:                    None => 9.1.0 (current stable)

Follow-up Comment #51:

Since the hang, and test failures with run.m, seem to have gone away, I'm
going to close this bug as Fixed.

I do think it would be a good idea to only update the file browser when
returning to the Octave prompt to eliminate a lot of unnecessary flashing
displays and application slowdowns.  However, that deserves its own new bug
report.
