Follow-up Comment #1, bug #65504 (group octave):
I don't see any uses of fcntl in the .m files that are part of Octave, or any
uses of fcntl in Octave's C++ sources except to provide the fcntl function
that is accessible in the scripting language. Even if it is used elsewhere,
would it be a bad change to simply return the status value instead of mapping
it to -1 or 0? That seems like a reasonable change to me.
