Follow-up Comment #7, bug #65518 (group octave):

I can't remember exactly the intention behind the regular expression. My guess
is that I missed the double slashes which made a backspaces from word
boundaries. I am wondering if there was a version that still interpreted \b as
word boundary. Otherwise there is no explanation why this was working.
