Follow-up Comment #2:

IIUC, "ć" is entered with AltGr+C with a Polish programmer keyboard layout:

I can confirm that Ctrl+Alt+C still closes a widget even if I bind a different
key combination to "Close Widget" in the preferences (e.g., AltGr+K). I tested
on Windows for what it's worth.

Unrelated: Is it possible to unbind any key combination from an action that
has a default shortcut?
