Dear all,

I just updated from 8.4 to 9.10. The new versions works great !

However, I noticed a change in the appearance of the GUI programs we are
using; the checkboxes and the sliders in particular. All their components
(arrow/box/background) are almost black and identical. They were the standard
gray tones before (see attached)

I could notice that changing the theme (in xfce) to a light color scheme with
a light gray background restores the previous slider and checkboxes behavior.

I think that there is no direct way to control the slider background color
since the properties backgroundColor/ForegroundColor are for other things. Do
you see anyway to restore the previous behavior or to write something in
octaverc before loading ? Otherwise I am afraid that all the GUIs will be
unusable with a dark theme.

best regards and thank you very much for all your hard work,
JJ.
