Update of bug #65850 (group octave):
Status: None => Invalid / Not an Octave
Bug
Open/Closed: Open => Closed
_______________________________________________________
Follow-up Comment #1:
thank you for the report, but those are expected warnings when using newer
versions of the statistics package with older versions of octave. the warning
is letting you know that the function exists in both places, and what while
you have the package loaded the package's version of those functions will be
used. As that can change expected behavior, a warning is issued to notify the
user. in the case of these functions, the statistics versions were updated
with more matlab-compatible code before that was rolled into the octave-core
versions of those functions. As many statistics functions expect those
features, if you're using an older version of octave it will shadow them with
it internal versions.
