Follow-up Comment #2, bug #66629 (group octave):

Additional information (as suggested by *_Dmitri_*):
I encountered the same problem as mentioned in bug #66629. Following the steps
below, as suggested by *Dmitri*, helped resolve the bug and allowed me to
print to PDF successfully.

How to Fix the Issue Using the OpenGL Switcher Application:
1. *Close Octave*.
2. *Open the OpenGL Switcher* application from the Start menu.
3. *Switch to Software OpenGL* (this will disable hardware acceleration).
     (file #56739 Application Window)

  4. *Restart Octave* and try your plot-to-PDF command again.

These steps have been *tested* and *confirmed* to work properly.
