Follow-up Comment #10:

Attached is a changeset which fixes the BIST tests to pass under the
Matlab-compatible lastwarn() behavior.  There were only two BIST tests that
couldn't be translated and had to be commented out, which isn't bad.

If someone could review and give a blessing I'd like to go ahead and commit
this before the 10.1 release.
