Follow-up Comment #5:

In the mean time I fixed toJSON.m to pass all tests again, along the lines
Arun showed in comment #15 over in bug #41028.
There's still another similarly doubtful line elsewhere in the file, however
that doesn't seem to interfere in the tests.

Fixing fromJSON.m may take a bit more time, overall code quality is not that
clear and hard to follow and -most of all- I'm unfamiliar with JSON.
