I merged the changes from the object branch to cvs trunk. The version
number is currently set to 3.0.0+. It builds fine for me and passes
all the tests, though I know of at least one problem related to
clearing subfunctions that has not been fixed yet. I started working
on a patch some time ago but didn't finish it. I will try to take
another look soon.
