if you want to contribute to Octave anything beyond bug reports, you
*really* should be working with the development sources to avoid doing
work that has been already done, like in this case. The only thing
that is missing is that "rows" option is not documented in
intersect.m. Also, I suggest you get familiar with Mercurial.
