[Changeset]: Add the comet function

I couldn't resist the temptation to submit comet.m ;-)

In working on this I notices what appears to be a bug regarding  
setting the axis limits within the context of this script. I have to  
set them twice in order for the plot window to respect the limits. The  
attached changeset only sets the axis limits once, so it does  not yet  
produce the same result as Matlab.

Is this a known bug, or shall I work up a report?
