Thank you for your consideration to my comments
On the windows, at present, the fig2dev works on cygwin so that it is better to
direct creation emf
file by the pstoedit to be default.
I found that the fig2dev is included in the winfig, which is close to the Xfig
on unix (including the
cygwin) (http://www.schmidt-web-berlin.de/winfig/) but it unfortunately is a
shareware.
