subrepo gnulib not found

Hi all,

I apologize if I am posting this to the wrong mailing list.  I am
trying to check out Octave source via hg clone and this is what
happens:

$ hg clone http://www.octave.org/hg/octave
real URL is http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave
destination directory: octave
requesting all changes
adding changesets
adding manifests
adding file changes
added 14599 changesets with 94835 changes to 9257 files (+8 heads)
updating to branch default
pulling subrepo gnulib
abort: repository [git]git://git.sv.gnu.org/gnulib not found!

Can someone tell me how to fix this, or direct me to the right mailing list.
