(Ah "hg archive" (the repo in the cloud) - now the info fully trickles 
down here :-) )

I'd agree with Michael. Even if we don't need them later, the hg history 
should keep a record of our mistakes. Folks associated with totally 
unrelated projects may somehow benefit of what we have in public hg 
repository archives - IMO one of the great points of OSS.
