Same for me with qscintilla 2.7.2 on OSX 10.9
BTW, I tried downloading qscintilla 2.8 and I am trying to install it, 
does anyone know how to convince qmake to configure for install in a different 
install location? I tried either 

qmake PREFIX=...

and

qmake INSTALL_ROOT=...

but none of them seems to work ...
