hgsave("foo") ; hgload("foo") not working

hgsave("foo") ; hgload("foo") not working |

I find it confusing to save a figure with
hgsave("foo")
and seeing that it creates the file "foo.ofig" instead of "foo", so that
hgload("foo")
does not work.
