Hello everyone, I am Sujay.
I am new to octave development. I ve been following the mailing list for a
few days now and came across many similar threads but didn't feel like the
question i am having has been answered.
I ve used matlab and octave before for image processing and also
implementing a few machine learning algorithms, so i am familiar with octave
m-file coding. I am also fluent in C and C++.
To familiarize myself with the process of submitting patches i ve submitted
a simple change for the bug
https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?44831
My main interest right now is the Octave-Forge image package (but would also
like to work on octave core). I ve seen that there are many missing
functions in the image package and i thought i would start there.
I would like to be working in this community for a long time so please
suggest a good place to start and also a few resources (I ve read most of
the guidelines in wiki) that might help me .
Thank You.
