Follow-up Comment #2, patch #7482 (project octave):
I believe this patch exposes a bug in 'test'.
if I run
test bicg
with the version in 'bicg2.changeset' I consistently get a segmentation
fault.
If I remove shared variables from the test as in 'bicg3.changeset'
the segmentation fault does not happen
