Follow-up Comment #8, patch #8051 (project octave): Just a status update: I played around with the compiling options on the mxe octave build. The pull in of libuuid occurs because of the fltk-config library has a LDLIBS string set to contain -luuid. If I remove the -luuid from the config, octave still compiles ok - I am about to check if it still runs under windows ok like that. If it does, then a patch to the mxe fltk install?
