Follow-up Comment #2, patch #8080 (project octave):
Ah... so vtk, wt and aql can be dropped as well (wasn't obvious to me).
I would be inclined to drop as much unneeded packages as possible - they
unnecessarily use build time and consequently, my time.
They can always be pulled back in, the build stuff is in the repo's history.
Anyway thanks for pushing
