URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/patch/?8190> Summary: make __unimplemented__ recognize functions from toolboxes Project: GNU Octave Submitted by: carandraug Submitted on: Sat 28 Sep 2013 06:20:17 PM GMT Category: None Priority: 5 - Normal Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any _______________________________________________________ Details: I expanded __unimplemented__ to also recognize functions that belong to a Matlab toolbox and to warn about installing the corresponding Octave Forge package. In addition, it also checks if the package is installed but not loaded to fix the very frequent complain about missing functions even though the packages are installed. I have attached the patch I intend to push and the perl script I used to get the list of functions from the online documentation (where can I place it so it can be used again in the future?). _______________________________________________________ File Attachments: ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Sat 28 Sep 2013 06:20:17 PM GMT Name: unimplemented.patch Size: 31kB By: carandraug <http://savannah.gnu.org/patch/download.php?file_id=29254> ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Sat 28 Sep 2013 06:20:17 PM GMT Name: matlab_toolbox_function_list.pl Size: 2kB By: carandraug <http://savannah.gnu.org/patch/download.php?file_id=29255> _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/patch/?8190> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
